When students are distracted they have a difficult time focusing on their learning. Headphones give a way for students to engage in the software they are working with without disrupting the students around them. Similarly, when students have too many items in or on their desks they can become distracted or side tracked. Minimization of distractions in the classroom enables a higher level of learning to occur. Supporting our classroom project will enable these amazing kids to work in conditions that will enhance their learning. Using technology is something that students will have to be able to do in and out of school. Having an environment that enables the use of technology in classroom helps students to be better prepared for life and their jobs in the future.
