Fine Motor Fun
Funded Jul 6, 2020My students, both online and hybrid learners, have enjoyed the items in which this projects provided for them. They have been enjoying their individually wrapped playdough along with the mats. This was a great way for them to understand "feelings" a lot more all while building on their fine motor skills. Our online learners were able to take items home with them in order to continue building on their skills at home.
We will continue to use our classroom schedule and pocket folder on a daily basis. This was a great, large size, schedule to provide a routine for our students.
All of the materials have been beneficial for both myself and students. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

Funded Dec 20, 2020Thank you for your support. My students and their parents were very appreciative of your kind donation. I wish you could have seen my students faces when their received their backpacks- it was a beautiful sight to see!
The backpacks that were provided have allowed them to have materials to use during distance learning and independent work. Not only have they been able to interact more during interactive activities but they are able to continue their at home learning with their parents.
We are continuing to use these materials and are grateful for you!”

Funded Feb 12, 2019In my classroom, Preschool for All Learners, we learn through play! How fun is that, right?! In order to continue to build on student learning and meeting IEP goals I enjoy creating lessons and activities that promote alphabet awareness all while playing. The stamps have provided a great way of learning letters through creating cards for family and friends. The alphabet soup is also another fun activity to play with during our interest areas.
These two activities have provided a way for me to informally assess students.
Thank you for your continues support. We are forever grateful!”

Let Our Light Shine On
Funded Jan 29, 2019My students have been having TONS of fun while learning with our light table! Within our daily schedule we have small group rotations in which we are working on academic goals. At least twice a week they are using the light table as a dry erase board as they explore language and literacy development. Although they are not all capable or writing with legible letters, they are beginning with scribbles and marks that represent their own name and letters of the alphabet.
When they first seen the light table they were in complete awe, as was I! Their reactions were priceless. The light table is used in many ways other than practicing their writing skills. We have been provided with exciting new materials that are of great use for the light table. A few of these items are blocks intended for the light table, tracing mats, color lenses and more.
I plan on continuing with more projects to continue to provide a more inviting, educational, fun and loving environment for my students.”

Chair Support is Important
Funded Feb 14, 2019A million thanks to you for providing an area for my students to sit-down with the proper support. Our cube chairs provided our students with the proper support. When they first seen the chairs they were surprised and cheered with such joy! They are able to come to school with a designated area that is paired with their pictures.
Aside from being able to sit down for circle time on their chair, we also use them as a chair and table combination.
We are forever grateful for your support on funds and chair support!”
