As developing readers, many of my students like to enjoy a good book, but sometimes struggle reading the words. My students had an old listening center that was given to our classroom from a retiring teacher but it is now too old and no longer works. They were so sad that they couldn't use it anymore. By providing a listening center in my classroom, students will be able to listen to the books they love and follow along as they develop their reading skills. My students would love to have a listening center in our classroom that will help them practice reading and also will get them excited to continue reading more difficult books.
