As I continue to grow in my understanding of technology and its ability to help children learn and progress, I am finding myself using it in the classroom much more than ever before. Our grade now has a Chromebook lab, and I have started to use it in many different ways. From reading programs to coding, my students are using the laptops to improve in many areas. There is one problem, however, and that is we don't have enough headphones for the students to use when we are on the Chromebooks as a class. This is making it difficult for them to hear and concentrate on the different activities, especially when trying to hear the sounds of words when working on phonics skills. I am hoping to get a class set of headphones so students will be able to maximize the full benefits of their time on the Chromebooks.
