This year I have the largest range of reading levels than I've had in the past. I have 3rd graders spanning from a 1st grade level all the way to 5th grade. I want to reach every child with a book they love that is on their level. Books can be a gateway for all students to enjoy learning. Having a wide selection of books allows all of my students a chance to find a genre they enjoy and hopefully grow a love for reading and learning. I have chosen to buy packs of books from Scholastic that vary in genre and level to hopefully be able to reach the students. Some of these packs of books are Newberry Award Winners and classroom must-haves. I hope, through this selection of books, to grow my students into avid readers.
