We all want to be heard, students and teachers alike. I would like to get a portable microphone to use, so my students can hear me wherever we go. I would also like to get a throwable microphone for the students to be heard as well. This will not only help with student engagement, but safety as well. I want to keep a safe and loving environment, in order to do that, I don't want to raise my voice or yell to get my students' attention, plus, it will help my ESL students hear me more clearly. The hardest times of the day are when my students are in places where it is hard to hear me. On the playground, in the lunchroom, and outside of the classroom, and this is sad to say, sometimes even in the classroom. I would love to have a way to get my students' to hear me, so I can use a calm, quiet voice, even in loud places.
