Most of the day my students are at school we are doing centers. My students are doing centers while I am pulling back small groups for reading. Centers are one of the most important things I plan for. I like to keep the centers engaging but at the same time help them practice a skill to review or a new concept we are learning. My students love using their hands to create and master concepts. My students need more engaging materials for their centers. These materials will help them master letters and sounds, fine motor skills, improve their writing, and sight words easier and quicker. My students would love to use the beads to spell their sight words for the week and review the ones they already know. My students love to use play dough as a center by creating the letter, so I know they would be ecstatic to be able to have the dough stampers to spell their sight words or create sentences. These engaging materials would help my students master the concepts were learning during centers and would help them become even more excited about learning.
