Grade level books allows my 23 unique Kindergarten students the opportunity to read for purpose as well as interest. My classroom library is a cherished space in my classroom community. My students have the freedom to get lost in a book of their choosing every day. All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind which means there is a book fit to each reading level. With these books, my students will be able to choose different texts on a weekly basis that they are able to read independently according to their reading level. It is so important to develop motivation and stamina from such a young age in order for my students to become lifelong readers.

About my class
