• Literacy Is Freedom

  Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom Literacy is Freedom project. My students were so excited with our new learning materials!

  The phonics skill-building books, cvc sight-word touch and read and sight-word sentence match have been a great addition in our centers. Students are able to engage with these materials during small groups independently and their confidence has grown tremendously.

• Cozy Carpet

  Thank you so much for supporting my classroom. A brand new carpet was essential to our classroom community, as we use it daily. I am so thankful for DonorsChoose and donors like you, who continue to support teachers across the United States. This means more to me than you could ever imagine.

  The students are thrilled to have a new classroom carpet. Over the last few weeks, the students have taken pride in ensuring that it stays clean. While outside may have the winter blues, our classroom is so bright with our new carpet!

• Spring into Learning

  Thank you so much for supporting my classroom. Your donation means more to me than you could imagine. I try my hardest each year to ensure my students have everything they need to be successful and without your continued support this would not be possible.

  All of the materials ordered have been supper useful! I must say, I believe the students have enjoyed the playdough and dry erase markers the most. Both are essential to our classroom, we use them to support students during small groups in both reading and math.

• Pick a Seat

  Thank you so much for donating to our classroom project "Pick a Seat". Thanks to your donations every week my students are able to meet with me at the kidney table and receive hands-on tailored small group instructions.

  In addition to learning, my students have enjoyed doing different crafts at the kidney table with our brand new stools. Not to mention the rainbow stools fits perfectly into our rainbow themed classroom. Thank you so much again, we truly appreciate your contribution to enhancing our learning!”

• Today a Reader, Tomorrow a Leader

  We are so thankful for your generosity to our classroom. Our students have made great progress with reading this year. Our test scores have increased and most importantly our students confidence in reading has grown tremendously!! Apart of this growth is due to small group centers where we had a chance to use our level readers. Using the level readers, we were able to meet the students needs based on their level/ placement in reading.

• Motivation for All

  Thank you all so much for your donations to my recent project "Motivation for All". As a teachers we often wear many hats, in addition to teacher I also would consider myself a motivational speaker. Many of my students need and benefit from encouragement and rewards for positive behavior and academic achievements.

  After returning from our holiday break, I introduced my students to the "new and improved" treasure chest. Since introducing it, my students have been so excited with the new items they have been receiving. My students and I are extremely thankful and we cannot thank you enough for you donations to our classroom community.”

• Back to School Basics

  I am so thankful for your contribution to my project "Back to School Basics". These new resources came right on time. As we are now half way through the school year and many of my students were low on supplies. It was my pleasurer, to share the good news with my students. To see them so excited about new learning tools to help enhance their education means a lot. As a kindergarten community, we often go through basic supplies rather quickly. However, with the new materials students received new crayons, our whole group lessons and small group centers have updated dry erase markers and laminated learning materials.

• Small Groups Make a Big Difference

  Funded Aug 11, 2022

  We are so thankful for your donations to our project "Small Groups Make a Big Difference". With your donation we were able to get brand new storage bins to store our small group learning materials. With our new bins, students have been able to go pick up materials as needed independently. No longer do we have to place materials in cabinet because of the lack of storage bins.

  Students are also able to use the different materials inside of the bins during our small group learning centers. With our Teachers Pay Teachers gift card, I have been able to purchase a variety of learning resources for the students to use.

• The Gathering Place

  Funded Oct 17, 2022

  First we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for donating to our classroom project "The Gathering Place". The students were so thrilled to have a new classroom carpet. The excitement and smiles once the students saw our latest addition to our classroom, was priceless. This new carpet has completed our classroom!

  Students now have a clean rug to not only sit on but students can use the carpet as a learning tool to enhance learning during small group lessons. Students will be able to use the letters and numbers on the carpet as a guide during instruction. Students will also be able to benefit from the carpet during our library time, the carpet truly has made the library area such an cozy and cool area to read.
