  • Supplies for Math and Writing Class

    Funded Sep 6, 2024

Thank you for the school supplies!!!Amy of my students started the year off with no supplies. They were in need of notebooks, pencils, and folders to start their educational journey through 5th grade. Your donation made it possible 62 students to have all of the supplies they needed throughout the learning days.

Although these items are on our school's supplies list, most students were not able to afford them or maintain the needed supplies. Many of my students and parents expressed concern. However, once I pulled out the items from this order, they all expressed joy and a sign of relief. Thank you for making this possible!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Pierce

  • Audio Learning

    Funded Aug 15, 2024

Thank you for the headphones. My students are so grateful. Many of them started the school year off with basic supplies but did not have headphones, although it was on the supplies list. Your donation made it possible for them to still have these needed supplies.

As technology is advancing, it is becoming more and more helpful to the students. We have several programs that are designed to provide individual learning. However, headphones are required to hear the information being taught. Your contribution made that possible.

Because of you, my class has improved their reading, math, science, and history skills because of the individualized opportunities the headphones provide. As a result, their grades are improving and their confidence in their work shows. On behalf of all of us, thank you and god bless!”

    With gratitude,

  • Model Citizens

    Funded Jan 26, 2024

Thank you for your help! My class is using ClassDojo as a reward system to reinforce positive behaviors. The students earn points for demonstrating model behaviors. We follow the PBIS program (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports), which teaches the scholars to be respectful, responsible, and kind. Scholars are rewarded when they exhibit exceptional behavior, like helping a peer, and can redeem those points for prizes. Your donation gave them an opportunity to receive a variety of prizes such as chips, drinks, cookies and treats. This helped motivate and mold our students into future leaders and model citizens. Thank you for your support.”

    With gratitude,

  • Holiday Party

    Funded Dec 7, 2023

Our winter break started the week of Christmas. The students had 2 weeks off to celebrate the holidays and enjoy time with their families. I wanted to kick the holiday season off with a nice Christmas Party before the students left for winter break. Your help made it possible. I ordered cookies, chips, and juice. This gave the students something to eat and drink during the school day. It also help boost the morality and climate in the classroom. Thank you for all of the support you provided. The students truly enjoyed and appreciated everything!”

    With gratitude,

  • Keep the Energy Going

    Funded Nov 9, 2023

My students work hard everyday to meet each learning objective. They are excited to reach new heights and achieve every goal set. However, this can get exhausting.

At times, they need a little motivation. You made it possible for me to order snacks to boost their energy levels and maintain a productive environment. With your help, I was able to order their favorite snacks including Rice Krispies Treats, Treat Bars, HERSHEY'S Miniatures, Cheetos Puffs, Frooties, Jolly Ranchers and Mini Pops.

These items have definitely kept them energized and motivated. Thank you, again, for your help. I couldn't have made it possible without you.”

  • Christmas Gifts

    Funded Nov 9, 2023

Thank you for the Christmas gifts. ALL of the students were overjoyed to receive their gift bags. Many of them bragged and said, "This is the best Christmas ever!"

We had a holiday party with several holiday games. The students were given the opportunity to win sweet treats as prizes. The were fed pizza, cookies, juice and chips. They were stuff by the end of the day.

Finally, we exchanged gifts. The students participated in Secret Santa. Once it was over, I pulled out the gift bags. That was the highlight of the day.

Thank you for EVERYTHING! You helped make my students have a special holiday celebrations. They all left with items to take home over the break.”

    Mrs. Pierce

Although headphones are on the school supplies list, most students come unequipped, which causes them to lose out on certain learning opportunities beyond the textbooks. Please help them receive this opportunity. With these headphones, the students will have the opportunity to explore their imagination while listening to audio books. Also, the students will have an opportunity to participate in web-based, interactive learning sites for math and science. Additionally, the students will have an opportunity to explore historical videos. As technology is advancing, there are more learning opportunities out there for the students to use, learn from, explore, and grow. I am all for integrating technology within my lessons, but it all starts with headphones. This way everyone can have a fair opportunity to learn without any disturbance from all of the different devices being used simultaneously. Please support.
