Flexible seating will help bring the Cajun culture into the classroom. Since our culture is easy going and relaxed, I would like to bring that into the classroom. Regular student desks are restrictive. Students feel uncomfortable, closed in, and confined. With flexible seating, I can keep the learning environment easy going and relaxed just like our culture. Flexible seating can address the many individual differences of the student body. It will help to bring the relaxed nature of our culture into the classroom making students feel at home and more comfortable which help them to be more engaged and eager to learn. Flexible seating will also help those students who need change, the ability to move around, and those who suffer from attention problems. Flexible seating can provide an environment of learning for all students to enjoy and be engaged, ready and willing to learn!

About my class
