I would love to create a sensory station in my 1st grade classroom by creating a safe, stimulating place for students to take a break while staying engaged in our lesson. 1st graders need several opportunities to move and explore throughout their school day. Sensory areas like this Sand & Water Table are both calming and exciting for young children. Sensory play supports tactile learning. It also helps to develop a child's auditory system. Sensory play can stimulate excitement, calmness, and alertness that contribute to the classroom learning environment. Sensory stimulation also builds neural connections in the brain and supports emotional health. Help make 1st grade magical. Thank you for your support!
