I can't wait to tell my students that they have access to fridge to store their meals and if they need a pick me up like a cup of coffee, I can definitely make them one!     From the bottom of my heart, thank you all so so much for being able to provide items to my classroom during the time of request. I'm very happy to say my students are able to use the items that you were able to provide funding for.

    When I told my students strangers were able to provide funding for school supplies they were quite shocked that strangers are willing to help others whom they do not know and it is just reassuring to the kids that there are still good people out on this Earth.

    What I hope my students learn with the items you all were able to fund is to feel safer for example getting the curtain for my door to not allow anyone to see provides a layer of protection. It may seem miniscule to some but the curtain definitely makes a change.

My Spanish students deserve consistency and dedication within the classroom. Prior to me joining T.C. Williams, the prior Spanish teacher quit meaning that my students were left in limbo for a month. My students are so smart, so dedicated and they deserve a teacher who is prepared and also would love to provide them with the adequate materials in order to be successful students within the classroom & globally. Unfortunately with the major dangers of teaching there is the threat of school shootings. The curtain would be needed to cover the glass next to the classroom door in case the school would go on lock down. With using the white boards students are able to work independently by writing their answers and holding them up in the air which involves full engagement from everyone.
