  • Reading Center Seating

    Funded Dec 3, 2019

    From the moment we received our new stools, the students had a huge smile and look of excitement on their faces. These sturdy and colorful stools were used to set up a new reading center in our classroom. Students have completed text evidence centers, handwriting activities, and reading comprehension packets. Students will even request to bring the stools to a teacher's table to work. Thank you again for giving my students another reason to love our classroom. We appreciate each and everyone of you!”

  • Hands-on Phonics!

    Thank you very much for the phonics resources for my students. These resources are being use during guided reading time to reinforce skills being learned in the classroom, review previous skills that were learned, and build their sight word knowledge to help increase their reading fluency.

    Upon opening the package, my students were so excited to see all of the new games that they would be using. One student even exclaimed, "This is like Christmas morning!". They look forward to guided reading centers because they know they will have the opportunity to use something new.

  • Sensory Tools

    Thank you so much for the sensory tools you provided for my students. The stretch and bead balls are great tools for my students to use during instructional time as a way to keep their hands moving while continuing to learn. The noodles are also a great tool my students are using during instructional time. My students use the balls and noodles throughout the day, during all subject areas. The magnet boards are used by students as a way to practice their sight words, draw pictures during free time, and help with fine motor skills and hand eye coordination. The timers have been used during instructional time as a way to motivate my students to finish their work in a timely manner. Again, thank you for your help in providing my students with the tools they needed to focus and complete their work.”

Sensory tools are able to provide sensory input in a fun and engaging way to students of all ability levels. All objects are quiet, calming, and allow for students to use during instructional time as a way to relieve stress and release extra energy. When given these sensory tools, students are better able to focus on the task at hand. This project will provide my students with stress balls, stretch bands, putty, liquid motion bubblers and timers, a magnetic board for creating and writing, and much more. These tools will allow my students to concentrate and become active participants in my classroom!

About my class
