I have started an after school Ballet Folklorico group at our Junior High, but the students are lacking the correct shoes and basic costume pieces in order to practice. My students need your help! Without your support, they will not be able to improve in this classic dance style. My students' families struggle to pay for basic necessities, and few are able to pay for things like dance or music lessons. To help keep our students engaged in positive after-school activities, we have created this Ballet Folklorico group for no cost to the students. The entire students population at our school receives a free breakfast and lunch under the Federal Community Eligibility Provision, and so programs such as this are critical to keep our students actively engaged in a positive after-school activity.
