Our campus has not been equipped with portable devices that can be used by an entire class at once. These tablets will allow a class to work on research and access a multitude of programs online while being mobile and not confined to a desktop. We have been made aware that makerspaces are making a huge impact on learning and those require portable handheld devices. We are ready to move forward with teaching students how to operate portable devices and using those to increase knowledge in Literacy and skills in preparation for upcoming grades, particularly as they enter middle school grades.
