Over 150 6th graders, currently share a Chromebook cart with thirty-five Chromebooks. Our math and reading curriculums, both have online components. It is important for our students to be able to access the crucial aspects of these programs. When technology is used in connection with our daily lessons, our students will perform better in class and on standardized tests. These programs will help our students be the best that they can be. My class needs two Samsung Chromebooks so they can access the curriculum daily through technology. Since this is a co-taught classroom with many diverse learners, lessons need to be differentiated. These Chromebooks will also allow more individualized instruction by using them as a center station. The students will be able to get the extra reinforcement of targeted practice. This project will help our children become better students.
