  • Helping Students Reach Functional Communication Through Hands on Activities!

    Your generous donation to my project, Helping Students Reach Functional Communication Through Hands on Activities, was a success with all of my speech students from Pre- K through 5th grade. My pre k students loved being able to learn the alphabet using the "Learn Your Alphabets Dough Mats" activity. My 3rd to 5th grade students enjoyed reading a variety of fictional stories using the reading comprehension task cards. According to my students, the stories were interesting and fun to read. They also enjoyed being able to write and answer questions about the stories on the actual task cards.”

  • Building Better Readers

    It is with true joy that I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your generous donation to my Building Better Readers project has helped my students progress in reading. The students were so excited to utilize the new materials. Many of the students have already shown progress in their phonemic awareness skills. These hands on materials have kept them engaged and makes learning the letter names and letter sounds fun rather than feeling like work. I couldn't have done this without your support.
