Each year our students learn about personal and community health. Their final project is to find a way to make their school or community better. They work with others and come up with brilliant ideas and present their ideas on posters to the class. We do not have access to a printer so the students need to print anything they may need at home or draw it. Having a printer for our health classes would help our students not only complete their projects but allow their projects to become a reality. The tent is for keeping the students from overheating when we are outside! In the months of April and May we lose the gym due to testing and are forced to be outside for 90 minutes each period. Temperatures are high and students get very exhausted while running around and being active. There is no shade for them and having this would help students from overheating!
