My students spend most of their day in the classroom and I would like to provide them with comfortable seating to create a motiving, comfortable, learning environment. I have decided to provide flexible seating to my students that will allow them to take charge of their learning and create more independent readers. Currently my students have the option of their desks and a carpet area. When I give my students more choices I see more excitement and a higher desire to learn. As soon as I heard about flexible seating I wanted to give it a try. I think it will help my students stay focused and motivate them throughout the day. The products I have selected will give my students more choices in seating. The bean bag chairs are going to be used as additional seating in my carpet reading area. The stability balls will provide more comfortable seating and movement for students at desks instead of chairs. The cushions will provide a new area of seating for students.
