One of the best ways to become a better reader and writer is to see all kinds of different examples. Our classroom relies heavily on annotation and written exemplars. Students want to see different examples of work and determine what makes the work successful and what to do in their own reading and writing to build their skills. Often this means mountains of handouts or delayed feedback. With an Ipad in our classroom, we'll be able to easily annotate texts, and see exemplars as they are being worked on in class. This material will support my students learning by providing them with new ways of engaging with our English Curriculum. With this iPad, students will be able to easily follow along as a classmate demonstrates their annotation process, or as I display a PDF Scan of students work for a project they are working on that day. Then, when they get home and reflect on what they learned that day, and need to review the classwork, students will be able to see exactly what we did as it will be uploaded to Google Classroom Directly from the class Ipad.
