My students come to school full of energy and ready to learn! They have their formal seating areas but they need more flexible/comfortable seating options to enhance student engagement and learning, especially with them being so young. The bean bag chairs and extra fill would be greatly beneficial to them as they are perfect for their size and could be used in multiple centers. Many studies show that students learn better when they are comfortable and physically active. We currently have some flex seating in the library and calm down areas which are used daily but they have gotten worn out over the years. I would like to provide my students with these flex seating options in order to make them feel more comfortable as it is their first experience at school.
