Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. Offering flexible seating not only gives the students choice but allows them to be more comfortable in the classroom. My students currently have a few seating options but would love to have more choices for flexible seating. I have noticed that allowing them choice motivates to stay on task, be responsible, and make good choices. One of my goals is to give my students a more personalized learning experience. Flexible seating is one aspect of personalized learning that will help meet the needs of all my students, as well as help them focus and do their best every day.
