Funded Dec 3, 2024Thank you so much for your generous donation of snacks and art supplies! These contributions made such a meaningful impact on our classroom, especially as my students prepared for their final projects.
When the materials arrived, my students were absolutely thrilled. The excitement was visible as they started brainstorming ideas for their projects. One student exclaimed, "We can use the paint to add so much detail to our posters!" Another said, "This is going to make our posters look so professional!" The resources you provided helped bring their creative visions to life. Seeing their enthusiasm and the quality of their work was truly inspiring!
My students are in high school and they don't often get snacks or play doh to cope; seeing these resources melt their stress during finals was magical. Seeing them relax after their presentations and use their creativity to express themselves was heartwarming beyond belief. My students don't often get the opportunity to be children and you gave them that.
As for our next steps, we're diving into a unit on storytelling and visual expression. Students will create storyboards for personal narratives, which they'll later transform into digital or physical art pieces. These projects help build their confidence in both self-expression and collaboration.
