Tech Time
Funded Apr 16, 2024I am so grateful for your donations. Having this new computer has greatly improved teaching and learning in our classroom. I am now able to project slides and even share on-line books for my students to read. My students are also able to use interactive letter boards during instruction. The boards are especially helpful during small group and individualized instruction. I say a word, students sound out the word and students use the letters to build it. The books are needs-based and are perfect for students just learning to blend. Thank you so much for making this project come to life!”

Carpet Time = Talk Time!
Funded Nov 30, 2022Our brightly colored carpet has added lots of brightness to our classroom. The students were extremely excited the first time they saw it. Of course they wanted to know where it came from. Some of them started jumping from button to button. This carpet has made our discussion time more organized and engaging. This carpet has brightly colored buttons. When I ask the class to "turn and talk" it is so easy for my student to turn their side by side partner or their forward and backwards partner.”

This classroom project was brought to life by an Anonymous Classroom Supporter and 2 other donors.Secret to Decoding
Funded Jan 21, 2022I would like to thank all the donors who donated to our project. We have been working with the materials with great success. Our Secret to Decoding has done wonders for my students. The Rime Magic has given my students the opportunity to decode words with many syllables. It has also enhanced their writing as well.
Some students are so excited when they see rimes in words that helps them read the words. Again I am grateful for you providing us with this great opportunity to become better readers and spellers.”

Shake It Up With Technology!
Funded Jan 29, 2019My students are so excited about using our new computers. Before getting the computers, only one group was able to go to the computer center daily. I am so happy to say two groups are going now twice a week. We really appreciate your generous donations. Before getting the computer, about one third of my Adventurers were expected to meet their Lexia Core 5 (online phonics program) benchmark for the year. Now 100% of them are expected to reach their benchmark. We can't say enough how much these computers mean to us. Thank you so very much and we greatly appreciate your help.”
