Studies have shown that students, even those with developmental disabilities, respond well to technology. Many of the families I serve do not have any type of computer technology at home. This project will provide this much needed tool for my students and their families, all designed to help the student learn as much as possible. This will be especially helpful for students with expression challenges and cognitive delays. While some may possess the intellectual capacity to function in the general class, speech and language skills can still present a number of obstacles. The use of educational software on tablets has proven to help overcome these obstables.
