Children at an early age are not always exposed to computer science. My students live in an area that has a low economical status and many do not have the resources to learn about robotics. By introducing it at an early age, they can develop an understanding of coding and robotics and further this understanding throughout their educational career. I want to develop their sense of computer science and robotics and problem solving skills. We are requesting the Wonder Workshop robot which is age appropriate, they will feel successful and confident in learning new and challenging things and their feelings toward school and learning will improve.
