Funded May 10, 2024I want to express my deepest gratitude to you all for your continued support. My students and I are thrilled to have you partner with us as we prepare for yet another transition.
Our privacy boards are welcoming. I can't begin to tell you how much we are grateful for the opportunity to be able to work undisturbed when tests are being administered.
We look forward to having those colored pens to work with. Our projects are certainly going to be eye-catching, and many will want to be a part of our team.
Again I want to say, Thank You.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Shepherd

Funded Dec 7, 2023Thank you all for your generosity. My students and I are extremely grateful for your gifts. By providing us with a laminator and laminating sheets, you have allowed us to preserve most of our work.
We are now able to display our hard work on bulletin boards inside our classrooms, as well as in the hallways, for a longer period of time.
Laminating our teaching materials, have made them easier to handle. They have become more durable now. As a result of this, we do not have to keep duplicating every year.
A big Thank You to you all.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Shepherd
This classroom project was brought to life by Townsend Press and one other donor.Snack Attack
Funded May 23, 2021I would like to express my gratitude for the generous contributions you all have made to the health, welfare and education of our students. My students' lunch period was the last period of the day, so at the beginning of the year I suggested they bring a snack to school. It was concerning to see many of them asking their friends to share their snacks, as some, did not have the resources to bring a snack to school. Which, as an educator for 40+ years, was heartbreaking to see. As a result, I reached out to Donors Choose for your assistance with our "SNACK ATTACK" initiative.
The words "SNACK ATTACK" resonated with our students. Every morning at or around 11:30, it was Snack Attack time. Students would receive a 10 minute break from lessons and would be given Donor Choice's chocolate cookies, cereal bars, Doritos, cheezies, and oatmeal cookies to name a few. They were ecstatic! It was a marked difference in the students' ability to focus on their lessons. For you see, prior to our Snack Attack initiative, students would be so hungry that by noon we would lose their focus for the day.
I would like to take this opportunity to get the Donors excited about our next initiative, which will be to ensure that each of our students have their own personal dictionaries. I hope that Donors Choose will be in a position to assist us with achieving this goal.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Shepherd
