    Funded Apr 1, 2019

Thank you so much for your help and generous donations! With your help, our classroom now has two spaces for students to work in. The easel has made it easier for my students to have small group activities at an eye-level that is appropriate to them. Students can listen to stories or practice writing sight words using this easel! This important piece has been essential to the students learning every day! The shelf has been turned into a writing center for the students! Students are able to independently get their materials to use throughout the day. Thank you again for all of your support!”

My classroom needs an easel to use when we are reading big books and working in small groups. This easle will allow me to sit on the rug with the students and work with them with ease. The low eye view of the easle will allow the students to easily see the material and focus on the task. Students should have a safe and comfortable place to learn and focus in the classroom. Additionally, our classroom is lacking storage space. The shelf I am asking for will store the materials the students need and use daily. I plan on storing the students homework baskets and other materials in the shelf, thus allowing the students to grow their independance in the classroom of managing their own materials.
