Guided reading is one of the most important parts of our day. By the end of third grade, our goal is to have every student reading on or above grade level. Movement increases blood flow to the brain so what better way to help the students during reading time than by providing them with seating that allows them to move. The wiggle chairs will help students stay focused and engaged. Instead of saying stop moving and stay focused, the students will be moving and be focused on reading. Not only will they be on grade level, but they will also become life long learners and readers. These chairs will help meet the needs of all of my students during learning time.
