In this project I am requesting a new bookcase. I would love to expand our classroom library and create more space for more books. This way my students can be exposed to more literature on a daily basis. My students love to read, and I would love to be able to provide them more variety. School is where my students gain this exposure to different varieties of literature, so I want to be sure to give them all I can. Growing up, reading for pleasure was one of my favorite things to do. I want to be able to give my students the same access to reading I had. Unfortunately, one of our bookshelves broke not long ago. I had to decrease the size of the classroom library due to this. I hope to be able to give them more.
