My students will actively learn the alphabet, practice their name, , rhyming, numbers and oh so many other concepts by using hands on materials like wiki stix, play doh, paint brushes, paper bags, letter beads, white boards (both lined and blank), crayons and markers.
Students will use paper bags to bring items from home that begin with our letter of the week or items that rhyme. We will practice hand writing on our sidewalks with paint brushes and water. The OWLs will form letters, numbers and shapes with Wiki Stix and Play Doh. Students love white boards and dry erase markers! They love practicing concepts by writing them on their tables! Colored paper will be used for parent communication, games and other activities.
