Our students create interactive notebooks, using notebooks to physically document their learning, organize their thoughts, and synthesize their learning. For 6th graders, keeping everything they need in one area helps limit the number of lost papers and misplaced assignments. They will continue to use these notebooks in the next grade, referencing some of what they learn in 6th and building on that knowledge.
Notebooks can be expensive. Not all of my students come to school with materials they need. I do not want students to start off the school year discouraged as resources should not be a barrier to learning.
Thank you for supporting my student's efforts in becoming stronger, more organized learners.
