  • Dashing into Robotics!

    Funded Nov 23, 2024

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for your generous donation toward the purchase of new Dash Robots for my classroom. Your support has made a tremendous impact, and I am excited to share how these new tools are enhancing our learning environment.

Thanks to your contribution, my students now have the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technology that helps them develop critical skills in coding, problem-solving, and creativity. The Dash Robots are already making a difference, fostering teamwork, and encouraging students to think outside the box. Watching them work with the robots has been a truly rewarding experience, and it's clear that these hands-on learning experiences are sparking their interest in STEM fields.

Thank you once again for your generous contribution. Your support is deeply appreciated, and you have made a lasting difference in the lives of my students”

  • Robots in Ridgewood

    Funded May 6, 2024

Once again, thank you for your generous donations. Your donation has provided STEM education to over 200 students and counting. We have been able to use the Bee Bot Robots to introduce basic coding skills to kindergarten through 2nd grade.

Students are learning to work as a team and enhance their critical thinking. Students are solving problems by completing various puzzles and challenges with their robots. they are learning debugging strategies to determine errors and fix them. These prerequisite skills are preparing them to move on to more abstract coding programs.

My students light up when they see the Bee Bots move using the directions they have given them. Having robots that can recharge has also been cost effective for our classroom since we are no longer spending money on batteries.”

  • Robots in Ridgewood

    Funded Sep 16, 2022

My students were so excited to use the new STEM materials that we have received.

My kindergarten students in particular have really had a blast learning how to program our new Botley robots to complete different tasks. They have learned cause and effect skills, problem solving, and computational thinking. They are able to build on their new found knowledge of directional coding and transferring those skills to get our new robots to complete tasks. we have been able to build mazes and obstacle course to have the robot maneuver through. Students have been able communicate with each other and problem solve.

We are so grateful for your donation to be able to provide students with these lifelong learning opportunities that they will always remember!”

  • Bringing the Arts Back to Our School!

    Funded Jan 18, 2017

On behalf of the students in our school I would like to say thank you. Everyday we work to provide the best experiences we can for our students, often with very few resources. Your donation has helped us build a new Literature Through Dance program in our school. Our students are now able to create movements and dances related to various books and characters. They are learning how to look deeply at the various characters in a story and act out that character through dance. Your donation has allowed our students to become more creative and really embrace dance. Our dance department now has more materials to work with to help design a fun and engaging curriculum for our students. We wouldn't be able to do this with our your thoughtful and generous donations!”

  • Inspiring Future Journalists

    Funded Nov 16, 2013

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for your generous donation to this project. Because of your donations to our student journalism club, the children have been able to document important school events. The cameras have been used to photograph important events such as assemblies, family night, and other school wide events. We have also been able to publish our schools very first newspaper. None of this would have been possible without your donations. We are so glad people like you have taken an interest in our project. Thank you again for your generosity.”

  • Math Materials for Special Education

    Funded Mar 21, 2012

On behalf of my students and my co-teacher I would like to say thank you for your very generous donation. Our class received some great, hands-on math materials. Our students have really enjoyed the materials. They always ask if they can use them! The manipulatives that were purchased with your generous donation have really helped foster a love of mathematics in our classroom. The materials have allowed our students to develop a concrete understanding of key math concepts. We are now able to set up differentiated math stations to meet our students individual needs. We cannot thank you enough!”

  • Mathematicians Hard at Work!

    Funded Dec 11, 2010

Thank you so much for your generous donation. With our new organization cart we have a place to store all of our math manipulatives. We have labeled each drawer so that the students can go and take what they need. The kids love it! They no longer have to worry about sorting through baskets to find what they need. They are able to quickly grab the resources they need to help reinforce what we have learned. With the new organization cart we no longer spend time looking for our materials. We can focus on the learning that needs to be done. Thank you again for your generosity. ”

  • We Love Series Books

    Funded Nov 1, 2010

My students and I thank you for your generous donation to our project. When the box arrived the kids could not wait to get their hands on the books! We had to set up a borrowing schedule so that all students had the opportunity to read the new books. With your donation we were able to set up book clubs in our classroom. My students had a chance to read the same book and meet with each other weekly to discuss the books they were reading. They really had a great time doing this and it really helped improve their reading comprehension skills. They were able to read books that they love and have meaningful discussions based on those books. My students and I are truly thankful for your donation and support. ”
