Oh the Possibilities, Good Supplies Can Take Us in Life
Funded Oct 18, 2023Fourth grade is better than ever. We are on top of our math and reading. The donations to my class has allowed my students to be more active and involved in the lessons. The students have created anchor charts for the classroom. The y have also enjoyed using their dry erase boards to respond to fun facts in instruction. Everything that was purchased has been extremely helpful in the continued success and development of my students. We are truly grateful for all that has been given to us in this donation.”

Funded Feb 4, 2024I would like to take this time to thank every donor for taking the time to read our request and submit a donation. It is a great honor to teach my fourth grade class and an even better one when we have the tools to be successful. I am grateful for your help.”

Let Them Succeed Beyond Their Neighborhood.
Funded Dec 26, 2018First I would like to apologize for the late response. It has been an honor and Challenge as a first year teacher in a poverty stricken neighborhood. Your donations has allowed my students to focus more on what they are learning, than what tools they need to learn. It has been such an amazing feeling giving everyone of my students the tools to do their work. We have completed so many projects over the past few months, and it is all thanks to your donations. My students all have their own markers, crayons, pencils, colored pencils, scissors, dry erase markers, and wipe boards/paper to complete their work.
When I first told my students they were going to get supplies and not have to worry about having to borrow or just not have them at all, each and every one of my students started screaming. They were cheering and so excited. Every time a delivery came for the class they were over joyed. It has been such an amazing blessing you have given to my class.
Last month we completed three projects using the construction and supplies. This month we are working on creating a children's story based on our class. The students will be using all the supplies we received, and they are ecstatic. We will also be doing a paper garden (making paper flowers out of construction paper) and placing the flowers around the room.
I would like to thank all the people that donated to room 218. This was an amazing gift to receive as a first year teacher. I look forward to working with DonorsChoose in the future.
