I think art is a very important learning experience for children. Art helps children become creative and use their problem-solving skills as learning takes place. In my classroom, Art is a center that is provided for students to used daily. Due to effects of Hurricane Florence and budget cuts there is no money to buy supplies, such as paint, paint brushes, construction paper, and other art supplies that is need to help my students be freely creative. Due to the fact, my students are severely limited in the Art center. With your support, my students will be able to create paintings, tracing and writing developments, and freely express their feelings through Art. My students will be able to learn and develop through language skills, motor skills, decision making and social skills.
