This project will allow me to teach The Book Thief as a new novel for my higher reading class. The Book Thief is one of my favorite books, and the narration is challenging and beautiful. In addition, I have added other diverse literature titles to my classroom library. I looked for titles that will reflect the students I have in front of me. Most of my students come from Latin American countries, and this past year I’ve really worked to add more voices like theirs. I am passionate about encouraging middle school students to read, please help me! Thank you! They are our future.
