Bringing Cultures Alive in Literature

We are so incredibly excited that our first project ever was funded!!! We greatly appreciate your extreme generosity and know our students will be so thankful for their new culturally diverse library! Funding our project is going to allow our students the opportunity to read some of the newest series out there and we can't wait to see the smiles on their faces. Let the reading begin!”

This classroom project was brought to life by A group of anonymous donors and 4 other donors.

Many of my students yearn to use technology to practice their reading and math skills. However, many of them have fine motor delays which makes it difficult for them to use a mouse on a laptop. An iPad would allow them to practice their literacy and math skills in a fun and engaging way. The apps out there are endless. I know from my own child how powerful these apps can be; making children forget that their actually practicing their skills! Learning is very hard for my students. This will be a great incentive and reward for them that they very much deserve! It will also prepare them for a future filled with technology.
