Coding Through Cultures Take Two
Funded Dec 15, 2023I want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation that funded the Dash Robots and diverse books for our 3rd grade collaborative Project Based Learning equity project. Your support has made significant impact on our school community, particularly for those students who might not have had access to robotics education otherwise.
Computer science education, especially through robotics and coding, has transformed the learning experience for our students. Through hands-on activities with Dash Robots, our students are not only learning essential coding skills but also gaining problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills, and collaboration skills that will serve them well in their academic and professional lives.
Particularly, for our neurodiverse students, coding and robotics provide a unique avenue for learning and self-expression. In our social studies project-based learning unit, these students have thrived, using coding and robotics as tools to explore historical events, simulate real-world scenarios, and work collaboratively with their peers fostering a positive social experience.
The impact of your generosity goes beyond just providing access to technology. It is about empowering our students to read, explore, innovate, and create in ways that were previously inaccessible to them. Your donation has opened doors for our students, sparking their curiosity and igniting their passion for learning.
Once again, thank you for your unwavering support and belief in the potential of our students. Your contribution has made a lasting difference in the lives of our young learners, we are incredibly grateful for your partnership in our educational journey.”
With gratitude,
