Math and Science for the Win!
Funded Aug 14, 2024Thank you so much for funding this project. We have many math and science lessons coming up this year and these supplies will help make for some fun ways for students to learn what they need! I love switching to different teaching strategies to help each individual student learn the concepts and these items will help me and them do just that! Thank you!”

Funded Jun 16, 2022We do many things with technology and these headphones help students to access the curriculum needed to learn. They even help with students who are sensitive to sound and need the headphones for that sensitivity.
We are seeing more students succeed at their own levels and make so much progress during the year. Being able to access the online tutoring with headphones makes it possible for them to feel that success each week and when we do our testing.
Thank you for your donations and all the tools that you are able to provide for us. We are extremely grateful for the supplies and opportunity to use them. Thank you again for your generosity and the supplies you have donated to our classroom!”

Funded Aug 1, 2020A mouse may not seem like an important tool for technology since most of our Chromebooks have a mousepad pad built in, but this has ben a big deal for my 6th graders! They have been so grateful to have a mouse to use while we work our Chromebooks! One student said, "Yes! Finally!"
We work all day long with technology. Recently, with COVID numbers rising, we are needing to be on the Chromebooks all day long to prepare students for closures if they happen. They are still learning the content they need to learn but on a completely digital platform. The computer mouse helps with drawing science models on Nearpod as well as drawing equations in our Math program.
Thank you so much for helping us with this! The impact has been astronomical for our daily routine; sanitizing, computer programs, etc.”

Ms. Dunn
Reliable Headphones
Funded Feb 27, 2020Let me start off by saying thank you again! These headphones have been so helpful to my students.
During the 2019-2020 school year, we were unable to use the headphones for very long before the school dismissal due to COVID-19. For the time before the closure, we used the headphones everyday for our required reading and English Language Development computer programs: Lexia PowerUp (reading and grammar) and Imagine Learning (English language development). These programs were a part of our district and school goals. Thank you for helping us with these goals!
This 2020-2021 school year has been so different then in past years. These headphones have become a solution to so many questions! Students cannot share items and since there is a pair for each student and we will be using them everyday for the above mentioned programs, sanitizing will be no problem!
Here in Ogden District, we have a saying, "We choose Ogden!" Thank YOU for choosing Ogden and donating to this classroom!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Dunn
