Technology for Scholars!
Funded Dec 29, 2021I will quote the words of one of my students who has personally composed a letter using one of the laptops that were donated to our school:
"Dear Donators,
Thank you so so much for these laptops, you have no idea how much this helped us. Without your kind actions, we would not have these high-quality chromebooks, instead we would have to share laptops and would not get access to working on laptops whenever needed. I can't imagine how hard you all must've worked for all of the money you decided to donate to us, when you could've used that money to buy food and other necessities for your personal living. We all are extremely grateful for your kind actions. What you all did was not necessary at all, but you decided to support our small class! Again, thank you so much for these laptops.
With these laptops, it is much easier to get work finished because we don't have to share the laptops and follow a cycle of which class gets the computers. We can organize our time better, and in my personal opinion, these are a lot better than the laptops the school gives out, which really helps us to complete work more efficiently. These laptops barely lag, and this sounds kind of odd, but the trackpad doesn't hurt. With the old laptops, you really had to put a lot of effort into clicking on the trackpad. That probably sounded weird, but it's actually an improvement! My finger would get really red and hurt. These models of computer are also a lot easier to use and work incredibly well.
Now, I have one request for you. Please continue to donate to schools! Some schools have little problems, and some have big problems. But no matter how intense, help schools. It truly makes a difference on how productive students are and how well they learn! You really can make an impact with even a small donation, every dollar counts! I mean that. Your kind actions help the school community greatly, so please, continue to help! I'm sure whoever you donate to would appreciate it.
Sincerely,
Violet W."”
