When the whole class is working on a reading activity, or assessment, I will not have to read quietly by the student's side. This makes them uncomfortable and distracts students that have no difficulty reading. 1 to 2 students in each of my 5 sections (25 to 30 on each) are the ones struggling when reading. With the Ipad, the students will be listening to the audio of the reading or assessment on their own. This will augment their capacity to understand the language and also help them produce responses. The Ipad will help them feel confident. Lessons and assessments will go smooth. I will be able to differentiate my instruction without making anybody feel isolated in the learning process.
