Funded Sep 30, 2021Now that my students understand the value of money, they were introduced to spending money. The Pay Day game exposes them to household finances: buying groceries, fix the car, pay the doctor and start their own business. They will exposed to real world expenditures to help them answer the question: Where does my money go?
The action takes place on a monthly calendar printed on the game board. They learn how their money is spent each day. One of the most important concepts for playing the game is bills must be paid. If you don't have enough money, sometimes you have to get a loan. This same financial strategy is included in a business plan.”
