Future leaders of America... that’s what my students are! I’m trying to prepare them for a world that is challenging and ever-changing. Using technology with my 3rd graders really helps me do this. Solving real world problems, practicing keyboarding skills, reviewing important math concepts, reading engaging literature, and doing research on multiple topics are some of the ways we use our chromebooks. We currently have enough devices for every student in our class, but keeping them charged and ready to use is a problem. I am currently trying to charge them using dish drainers and multiple power strips. It's not very effective, takes up valuable counter space, and creates a big mess in our classroom. A charging cart would be the perfect solution to this problem!
