Extra Extra Read All About it! New Printer Please !
Funded Mar 13, 2025Thank you all so much for your generous donation and allowing my class to have a new printer for our classroom. This printer is beneficial to my special education students. My students can now print out there work to display in the school and also use it for extra resources for their learning. This has made it easier for students to complete their writing assignments and has taken a lot of pressure off of them.
Simple classroom materials like a printer really go a long way in helping to differentiate my lessons for my Special education students. All of my students are at different levels, so being able to print out resources specific to their needs and level is extremely beneficial. This has really made a change in my students learning experience.

Prepared for a New Year
Funded Jun 14, 2024Thank you all so much for your generous donation and allowing my class to have new art materials for our classroom. These materials are beneficial to my special education students. My students can now have all the things they need to display their art in the school and also use it for extra resources for their learning. This has made it easier for students to complete their writing assignments and add more art in their work
My students really enjoy having access to these materials so that we are no longer waiting to share or we don't have enough for each person all the time. These materials allows my classroom to run more efficiently. My students can now show off their unique artistic visions with their work.

Fluency Fun!
Funded May 16, 2023Thank you all so much for your generous donation and allowing my class to have more reading and math fluency technology for my classroom. These materials are beneficial to my special education students. Many of my students have difficulty with reading and phonics, so this iPad will be used to for apps that focus on their foundational skills in phonics and track their progress. I will be better able to discuss the progress of the students with phonics and give parents strategies to help at home. This has made it easier and more fun for my students to work on their phonics skills and also math fact fluency.
My students really enjoy working with these apps that are geared towards their level. It enhances their understanding of phonics and deciphering new words. The math fluency apps will give the students a quick warm up of past math concepts to keep their mind sharp. This iPad will give me different ways to engage with my students as well as parents!
My students who have been having reading issues through the years have really liked using these apps to help them gain a better grasp of the foundational skills that will them grow as readers and be more confident. This has allowed my students to engage in my lessons and complete assignments better. This has really made a change in my students learning experience.”

My students really enjoy having access to the printer so that we are no longer waiting for copies to be made and work is readily available. This technology allows my classroom to run more efficiently. I can have my work prepared for my students quicker by having this printer in my classroom

Funded Sep 16, 2021Thank you all so much for your generous donation and allowing my class to have more writing and math resources for my classroom. These materials are beneficial to my special education students. Many of my students have difficulty with writing, so these books on grammar help my students to elevate their writing. This has made it easier for students to complete their writing assignments and has taken a lot of pressure off of them. They are able to understand the writing process better.
My students really enjoy working in these books. It enhances their understanding of spelling and grammar. They enjoy participating and being to show their understanding by completing pages in the book. The math books give the the students a quick warm up of past math concepts to keep their mind sharp. They really enjoy using these books.

It has allowed them to understand grammar and parts of speech way better. This has allowed my students to engage in my lessons and complete assignments better. Technology for My Blended Learning Classroom!
Funded Mar 13, 2021Thank you all so much for your generous donation and allowing my class to have more access to technology in my classroom. This Ipad has made it possible to access different applications that are beneficial to my special education students. Many of my students have difficulty with writing, so apps with speech to text help my students to get their ideas out. This has made it easier for students to complete their writing assignments and has taken a lot of pressure off of them. They are able to get their work done and are able to really articulate their ideas to me.
My students really enjoy having time to go on the Ipad and using the fun learning games I was able to download for them. When my students are done with classroom assignments they are allowed to play one learning game on the Ipad. The learning games are their favorite. They love playing Kahoot, duolingo, starfall, and khan academy. My students helped to choose the apps that they wanted based on their interests and needs.
My students who have been have writing issues through the years have really liked using this technology. It has allowed them to use speech to text to complete assignments and be able to engage more fully in class. When they are not able to complete assignments the same as other students it would bring down his self esteem. This has allowed him and other students to engage in my lessons and complete assignments better. This has really made a change in my students learning experience.”
