Hands-on Learning Manipulatives
Funded Nov 14, 2023Thank you so unbelievably much! I can't even begin to describe the gratitude I have for such a generous donation! You should see my students in action with these great hands-on manipulatives! I already can't wait to begin implementing these in our classroom. We will put all of the math items to use right away! With the giant clock my students will be able to visually and kinesthetically move the pieces of the clock! They will also already be able to utilize the magnetic money as well! My personal favorites are the dollhouse people and accessories for the dollhouse! My current and future students say thank you!”

Hands-on Fun!
Funded Oct 23, 2023Thank you so much for all of these amazing hands on curriculum materials. There are not enough words to express how much we appreciate the support from you for providing more hands on manipulatives for the present and future students in my class. It has been like Christmas morning and my students have loved getting to see all of the new items we get to add to our "tool box" to help them with learning! They have already been utilizing the items provided and have had so much fun incorporating these things into our daily routine and classroom!”

Fun Resources!
Funded May 9, 2023Words cannot express my gratitude to your contribution to our classroom! My students really enjoy getting to come to school where they know their community supports them and provides new and updated materials by supporting the items on our Donors Choose wish lists to help our classroom grow. Which, in turn helps our students grow.
These items have already been utilized more times than I thought they would be. I can't wait to add more materials to our mobile library and have resources available for my students to access books on their levels and that they truly enjoy reading.
We have also utilized the magnetic pocket charts in a variety of ways! I can't wait to see how else we can use them!
I myself could not wait to set up the train track. I have some students that have never played with a wooden train or have never set one up and we've had such great discussions about all kinds of occupations that can come from building a train track and being able to effectively run a train. I can't wait to further our exploration of trains and everything that goes with it.
This has been such an adventure already and I love these new additions to our classroom.”

This classroom project was brought to life by SONIC Foundation and one other donor.Let's Make It Count
Funded Nov 5, 2022I am so unbelievably thankful for this generous donation to my classroom. We have already received all of our items and my children were ecstatic to see such amazing and fun manipulatives! My goal as a resource teacher is to help students plug in holes in key areas and help them be successful with grade-level skills. These manipulatives have already made a huge difference. My students look forward to using the magnetic ten-frame boards and number lines for math! The clock has been so much fun and a great way to interact with telling time vocabulary. I can't wait to continue to utilize these manipulatives for many years to come and help so many other students make learning fun!
Thank you so much.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Oklahoma State Department of Education. You Can Help Our Class Make It Count!
Funded May 6, 2022I can't even express how much these manipulatives have come in handy for my classroom. Having these available to my students has really helped them learn in the areas of math by having materials that get them up and engaged in the math process. We have done so many gross-motor activities with the 0-30 number line! My students really enjoy getting to utilize this. We've also really enjoyed the expandable breathing ball. It has allowed my students to slow down their breathing to help with calming down during a stressful situation, of course it's still fun to use for fun too! The fit bands have also helped some of my students when they need a "wiggle" break. They use them to really stretch out their muscles and help them focus while in lab.”
