• Keeping Warm For the Holidays!

  Thank you for you generous donation, This will allow me to help provide my studnets with warm winter apparell. The students come to school in the freezonf cold each winter day, many of them are walking. These items will make it a little warmer for them as they make that walk each morning and afternoon.”

• Class Equity Restock!

  Funded Apr 30, 2024

  Allowing the students to have access to snacks which they can purchase with virtual money is very helpful. The students are able to take these items home and can be very helpful for the students who are struggling with hunger at home. Providing these items keeps the store up and running and keeps the students motivated to continue earning money. Without your help keeping our store up and running would not be possible. We rely heavily on donations to give the students many options in the store for purchase.”

• Cell Storage!

  Technology is a beautiful thing, but it can also be a huge distraction for students in the classroom. Many student, actually almost all students in middle school have a cell phone and are part of many social media platforms. Sometimes teens find that Social Media is not always a safe and happy space. We avoid many problems, fights, in class drama by collecting the phones every morning. This keeps the students from messaging each other and or posting on social media during the school day. Or students are more focused on their lessons and their in class assignments with the distraction of their phones. These lock boxes allow all the teachers on our team to keep the playing field leveled and have a safe way to store their precious devices during the school day,”

• Science Fair Time!

  Funded May 7, 2024

  The Science Fair is an amazing time fore students. They are allowed full control over their learning. They can choose their topic and design the experiment that they want to complete. The students are given all of their supplies including their project boards that they can decorate and display all of their work on. The students create a colorful Google Slide presentation to capture all the steps of their project. They include pictures of their experiment as it is in process. These boards can cost a few dollars that the students don't have.

• Warm Up Winter!

  Giving our 130 students a gift to take home for the holidays is something we have always wanted to be able to do. With you help this year it was possible. Each student received gloves, hat, scarf, holiday socks and a bunch of cool snacks and treats. It was a joy to take all of these things and put them together in a cute holiday bag.

  The students were so overjoyed at this wonderful gift they couldn't wait to show them to each other. The compared colors and patterns and most wore then home since the day we gave them out it was snowing. Thank you again for helping us give our students great joy.”

• Magical Masquerade!

These supplies will help is to transform the cafeteria into a magical place for the students to have their dance. 8th grade dance is such a fun and exciting experience for these students for some of our students this is a once and a life time experience.”
