My students have been creating images and will be animating and creating projects using VR and 3D Digital Storytelling Software. To create the Solar System in 3D on your computer is pretty cool. However to put on the headset and see your Solar System projected over your head will give a deeper, more exciting learning experience. The Oculus Rift VR System will bring their creations to life in a way many of the students will never get to experience. VR will give the students an opportunity to think and be creative outside of the box. VR will take their reasoning and logic skills to a new level. They can see Anatomy in a different way. They will enhance their creativity, math skills and storytelling abilities. The Oculus Rift VR System will make a positive impact in the classroom and It will help give the students a sense of accomplishment, by sharing and viewing each other’s creations. VR in the classroom is another tool we can use for collaborative learning groups and student led learning. Help us take this step to foster thinking outside of the box.
