My students are learning in a dual-immersion school where they get to learn and develop both English and their native language—Spanish. Our current library is very limited in our selection of books in Spanish. All the books that I have added are books in Spanish so that students in the classroom can have access to books at their level that they will enjoy reading! During centers time, one of the things I allow my students to do is read a book. Having all the titles I chose would allow them to have options from which they would surely find something they are both interested in reading and that is appropriate for their level. This will not only help them continue practicing reading and passing levels, but also help them grow a love for reading!
