The materials I choose are designed to be developmentally appropriate games and activities that allow students to be the architect of their own learning. They allow us to meet both IEP goals and preschool state standards across multiple areas of development. The easy-punch design shapes are a fun way to develop fine motor skills needed to write, the number shells allow students to develop pre math skills such as counting, number order, color patterns and matching, and the early language and early math games allow us to build the skills needed to develop a love of learning that will sustain them throughout their school career.
